How we serve

OSOM is responsible for reaching out to young people in schools, colleges and universities with the gospel of Jesus Christ. This ministry is the result of a vision conceived in 1996 by the senior pastor of Omega Healing Centre church (Michael D. Kyazze) to reach young people in fulfillment of the Joel 2:28. OSOM is a transforming ministry to both members and students and as such members grow in their experience with our Lord Jesus Christ and the moral standards of young people in schools are raised through exposure to the Word of God.

OSOM is commissioned to lay a foundation for children and youth based on God’s Word; reaching them with the Love of Christ; Winning and Growing them into Winners and Nurturing them into World Changers. The goal of the ministry is to enrich the mental, physical, spiritual and social abilities of young people for community and national transformation. Key events for OSOM include; Annual Schools Conference which brings together over 40 schools at Omega Healing Center every March. The purpose of the conference is to strengthen school partnerships and evangelism. The Mentors camp for leadership development and mentorship, routine ministry to schools Scripture Unions and pastoral work, OSOM talents which helps promote gifts of young people.
