Marketplace Ministry
Marketplace Ministry exists to encourage, empower, and equip workplace Christians to use their influence to transform their world through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Mat 18:18; disciple nations. Objectives: Reaching the city with the message of transformation in Christ, Equipping the Christian in the marketplace to live a Christ like life, and creating an atmosphere of hope in a hurting world. Mission To bless, fellowship, minister and proclaim. Mathew 28:19-20 Activities Dedication of working sites, offices and homes for both omega church members and non members Open up fellowships in the workplaces Provide chaplain services to facilitate workplace fellowships End of year thanksgiving ceremonies and parties for organizations and families Organize and encourage church members in their professions to small groups.
Annual Fathers' Summit The department through the support of other departments holds the annual father summit which is an international, interdenominational leadership forum for pastors and passionate leaders. The summit is attended by 0ver 500 pastors for across Uganda and other Parts of Uganda. It aims to inspire, motivate, equip and challenge leaders with fresh insight on doctrinal issues, spiritual leadership and fatherhood. Omega Trade Exhibition This is an opportunity in which Christian business get to exhibit there businesses to the congregation and community. The exhibition is held once in a year and attracts hundreds of business within our congregation and community to show case there ideas, business innovations and products produced locally.
