Missions & Church Planting

The Missions & Church Planting Ministry exists to mobilize the church to prepare and support missionaries, mission projects, and church planting initiatives across cultures, languages, and nations. Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, establish vibrant local churches, and make disciples where the Good News is least known.

As a ministry of Omega International Ministries (OIM), we are committed to ministering to the spiritual, social, physical, emotional, and economic needs of communities by winning souls to Christ and nurturing them into mature disciples. Through missions, we extend the love of Christ beyond the walls of the church into our communities and across the world.

Ministry Departments

Prison Ministry

We minister God's redeeming love to prisoners by preaching the Gospel, providing biblical teaching, counseling, encouragement, and practical support. Each year, many inmates give their lives to Christ, and we continue to support them as they transition back into society.

Hospital Ministry

We visit hospitals to pray for the sick, share the hope of Jesus Christ, distribute Bibles and Christian literature, and where possible provide practical support such as food, transport, and other essential needs.

Door-to-Door Ministry

Our outreach teams visit homes to share the Gospel, pray with families, respond to community needs, invite people to church, and encourage fellowship. Through this ministry, hundreds of people come to Christ each year.

Open-Air Evangelism & Crusades

We regularly conduct evangelistic crusades and open-air preaching in communities and villages, proclaiming the Gospel and leading many people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Street Evangelism

Our street evangelism team faithfully shares the Gospel in public places, reaching people with the message of salvation wherever they are.

Church Planting

Omega Healing Centre is actively involved in planting and supporting churches both in Uganda and internationally. We strengthen pastors, mentor church leaders, and partner with congregations in countries including Germany, Sweden, Canada, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and many others as we continue expanding God's Kingdom.
